Formula Special General Meeting
A Special Meeting of the Class has been called to discuss a proposed revision of the Class Rules. The meeting is scheduled to take place after the IWA AGM Torbole, Garda on Saturday 8th May. Production of the Aloha board officially ended
In 2003, we fixed a level of 300 units as the minimum number of orders, below which it would not be viable to manufacture the Aloha board, in terms of organizing production and economically. At the end of 2003 we had received no more than 50 orders from our world wide dealer network. We have therefore taken the decision to stop production of the board

A new Division for IFCA – The International Speedsurfing Association

42 nations from 6 continents entered for the 2004 Worlds
More than 100 men and 57 women from 42 nations and 6 continents are entered for the 2004 Mistral Worlds due to start in Cesmi, Turkey on April 8th. This is the last qualifier for nations wishing to compete in the 2004 Olympic Regatta. Conditions are reported to be unseasonably cold however the wind has kicked in with 25 knots in the proposed race area today! Daily reports and images will be posted on the IMCO website. 2004 List of Prohibited methods & Substances Modified
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is issuing a modified version of the 2004 List of prohibited methods and substances. The changes, which do not affect the substances currently on the List aim at preventing any legal loophole in case of the discovery of a new designer steroid. The discovery of the designer steroid, Tetrahydrogestrinone (THG), has made clear that the definition of analogue as defined under sections S4 and S5 of the former List is inappropriately restrictive.

PWA Rule 12 declared unfair and unreasonable by ISAF
A number of ISAF Windsurfing Classes have made ISAF aware of PWA rule #12 which prohibits PWA members from competing in windsurfing events other than PWA events.
