Trojan horse virus targeting banks and financial institutes

You may be aware from the media that a new 'virus' is currently in circulation. Some users of Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher are currently being affected by this Trojan Horse virus, which targets customers of banks and financial institutions.

The virus installs itself on the user's computer and is able to capture card details from the affected machine. It then displays a pop-up window, which asks the user to enter their secret ATM PIN code.

It is therefore possible that some of your customers could be amongst those affected. Please be assured that WorldPay has never requested ATM PIN code details and any cardholder prompted for such information should refuse the request.
