Torbole update . . .
Posted On:  13/02/2014 18:42:59

Lots of good news coming from Circolo Surf Torbole (CST), the host club for the forthcoming Techno 293 European Championships on Lake Garda, Italy.

The club will open its doors for business from March 1st and welcomes visitors to the club to enjoy the facilities both on shore and on the water.

During this period leading up to the championship there will be two training periods, one in March and one in April, when foreign competitors will be able to join national and regional teams, and their expert coaches, for early season preparation. Further details will be published, but for information now contact - Circolo Surf Torbole: info@circolosurftorbole.com

Pre Championship Event

From 17th to 19th April the CST in collaboration with its neighbouring clubs will take part in a big youth 'festival' of racing. The Notice of Race is being prepared and will be posted on the club and T293 websites very soon.

For details of accommodation packages that are available contact CST - info@circolosurftorbole.com

'ECO' friendly championships

The club are conducting an "eco-friendly" campaign which they wish to express throughout this championship, and with all their activities/events. They hope you will embrace their ideas and help them to deliver an event that impacts in a good way on the local environment. Over the coming weeks we will bring more of their plans to you, but to start the process of thinking and preparing in advance competitors and coaches are asked to bring re-usable drink containers to Torbole. No more plastic water/drinks bottles in and around the venue or on the lake!

"Tutto un altro pianeta"- check out the invitation and introduction from Circolo Surf Torbole.
