Mexican National Championship
Posted On:  13/12/2010 17:24:22

The Mexican National Championship finalized past weekend; with conditions varying from 8 to 22 knots spread in 3 days of competition, on the gorgeous coast of Cancun. This variety of conditions made the championship very interesting, being the most complete sailors the ones who took the title in their respective categories.

50 windsurfers with ages between 11 and 45 participated in the event in all the different classes like RS:X, Formula Experience and Bic Techno 293.

This event is a success for the growing of the sport in Mexico, most of the participants kept the motivation going and now Mexico will have athletes participating at international level on the Miami OCR for the RS:X class, and the San Francisco World Championships on the Techno 293 class.
