The final day of the 2017 IFCA Slalom World Championships held at Paal 17 in Texel The Netherlands was the day that anything could still affect the final results of the Championships.
Some competitors had been looking forward to some racing in different conditions to improve results and rankings after the rough long races from the previous day.
Unfortunately a weak forecast was predicted, the wind strength had been dropping way below the minimum after the last skippers meeting of the event was held, which allowed the Race Committee to call off the event earlier then expected.
