The Annual Sorobon Masters has ended with yet another successful competition at the Sorobon Beach Resort - reputedly the most beautiful and relaxing resort on Bonaire. Freestyle-Slalom-Speed action was followed by the Dunkerbeck GPS Speed Challenge which was a great success for all age categories - Results

The 2017 edition of Defi Wind Caribbean ended this Wednesday, June 21st, on Bonaire. The Island Boyz dominated the competition with the victory of St Maarten rider, Julien Quentel.
The second edition of the Defi Wind Caribbean was blessed by the local weather conditions. Bonaire is located 40 miles away from Venezuela and offers consistent trade winds all year-round.......( more )

The final day of the 2017 IFCA Slalom World Championships held at Paal 17 in Texel The Netherlands was the day that anything could still affect the final results of the Championships.
Some competitors had been looking forward to some racing in different conditions to improve results and rankings after the rough long races from the previous day. ......( more )

Day 4 of the IFCA Slalom Worlds on Texel was all about wind, waves and concentration. The competitions could continue in somewhat different conditions then the previous days - dead onshore winds with waves from 1 to 2 meter swells on the outside.
Heading out was already tricky and for some of the competitors it was scary and tough. A few rescues had to be made, a few equipment damages and also a few injuries were results of the rough waves here on the beach in front of Paal 17 in Texel, The Netherlands.......( more )

POL 10 is one step closer to claiming the European series title after winning in Sopot. Today there was not enough wind to race and although the race committee called the sailors out on the water the race was abandoned due to unsatisfactory conditions.
On Wednesday, after 11 races, it was Wojciech who was first followed by the defending champion Michal Polanowski and Pawel Tarnowski and this was the top three of the regatta. The first and only lady in the fleet – Maja Dziarnowska was 10th overall.......( more )

Thailand female sailor Siripon Kaewduangngam has been crowned 2017 RS:One World Champion ahead of Peiling Chen from China and Blanca Manchon (2010 Rolex Sailor of the year) from Spain.
In the Men's fleet, the 2012 (and first) RS:One World Champion, Geylord Coveta from Philippines, stamped his authority with an outrageous dominancy and claimed the 2017 RS:One World Champion title. Thailand Team impressed with the organisation and consistent performances bringing back home the second and third position with its sailors Navin Singsart and Nathaphong Phonoppharat.......( more )

The third day of the ERGO Hestia Championships brought about some changes in the leader board of the Formula Windsurfing Europeans.
After 11 races three discards kick in, so three of your worst scores are not taken into account. And today, after 5 more races, we were able to get to that magical number of races. ......( more )

After the second day of racing there are no changes to the top spots of the classification. Hubert Mokrzycki is in the lead, ahead of Wojtek Brzozowski, Michal Polanowski and Pawel Tarnowski. But it is only a couple of points between them and anything can happen. ......( more )

The 2017 IFCA Slalom World Championships got under way at Paal 17 in Texel, the Netherlands with the Skippers meeting held at 09:00 and competitors were briefed by the Principal Race officer. Expected weather conditions were 15-18 degrees, on-shore winds, small waves and partly cloudy skies.......( more )

3 more races in shifty winds between 4 to 11 knots took place on the fourth day of the 2017 RS:One World Championships set on the beautiful white sand beach of the luxury Hoi An Boutique Resort.
Thailand female sailor Siripon Kaewduangngam maintained the dominate performance while Spanish legendary sailor Blanca Manchon confirmed her "remontada" claiming the second place ahead of Chinese sailor Peiling Chen. ......( more )

The ERGO Hestia European Championships took off today in Sopot Poland with offshore wind gusting well above 20 knots.

The 2017 RS:One World Championships, set on the beautiful white sand beach of the luxury Hoi An Boutique Resort, saw the 51 racers from 14 countries and 3 continents, including the 2010 RS:X Female World Champion Miss Blanca Manchon, pushing their limits with 3 more races in light and shifty winds between 4 to 8 knots on day three.......( more )

The 2017 RS:One World Championships is set on the beautiful white sand beach of the luxury Hoi An Boutique Resort. 51 racers coming from 14 countries and 3 continents, including the 2010 RS:X Female World Champion Miss Blanca Manchon, were pushed to their limits on day 2 with 4 races in gusty winds between 6 to 11 knots.......( more )
