| ISAF Mid-Year Meeting 2007 |
The Speed Windsurfing Class Association was approved as an ISAF International Class. The Techno 293 windsurfer was upgraded from ISAF Recognized to ISAF International Class status, reflecting the strong support given by some MNAs to use the Techno in their youth windsurfing programmes.

| Formula Experience joins IWA |
Following the success of the 2006 combined classes championship - Formula Windsurfing (Youth & Masters) and Formula Experience - held in Belgium, the FE class has become a "full member" of the International Windsurfing Association.

Kevin Pritchard (Starboard / MauiSails) wins the event, Micah Buzianis (JP / NeilPryde) keeps the runner-up spot and 2006 champ Antoine Albeau (Starboard / NeilPryde) finishes third. In the women's contest Karin Jaggi (F2 / North) wins, Sarah Hebert (Starboard / Naish) secures second place and Ayako Suzuki (Starboard / Gaastra) finishes in third place.

| There is no change for Ivan PASTOR (ESP) in the Men's RS:X Rankings and he stays at the #1 position for another release. Behind him though there is plenty of jostling for position. Marina ALABAU (ESP) holds on to the top spot in the Women’s RS:X Rankings, but world #2 Bryony SHAW (GBR) has closed the gap on the leader to just 31 points. |
