The Brasilian Formula Windsurfing Grand Prix is organised by Arrow Marketing, in Fortaleza, on the north coast of the country. The regatta will not only be a great event in its own right, but also the perfect warm up for the Worlds the following month.

Mistral Youth Worlds, Sopot, Poland - 6-14 August 2005 |
Only one point seperated gold and silver in the Mistral Youth Men's fleet! Both Lukasz Grodzicki from Poland and Shahar Zubari from Israel won three each of nine races overall but Lukasz managed to overcome his close rival to take the Championship title with a total of 25 points.

22 year old Patrik Pollak of Slovakia was undeniably the European Champion of the event, winning eight out of a total of nine races for the Raceboard Fleet.
Paco Wirz, second overall, holds on yet again to his Raceboard Masters World Champion title.
Bulgarian Irina Konstantinova, fourth place overall, first lady.

13 year old Alistair Masters from Great Britain scored six bullets giving him a total event score of 22, fellow Brit 14 year old David Woods coming in second overall, 13 points behind.
The top three girls' places were dominated by the French. Leonore Bosch and Sybil Bosch, took first and second places, Helene Noesmoen was third girl.

Buzianis snatches victory from the jaws of defeat in the final meters of the final race, whilst Jaggi sinks Ghibaudo's battleship for once and for all

Finally Bjorn Dunkerbeck (North Sails) snatched the victory because his hardest rivals, Finian Maynard (F2) and Antoine Albeau, had bad luck with their equipment choice.
In the womens fleet Karin Jaggi (F2) defeated Britt Dunkerbeck (North Sails) and Valerie Ghibaudo (Gun Sails).
The production class was won by Dan Ellis (Fanatic) for the men and by Allison Shreeve (F2, Neil Pryde) for the women.
