| Italian Vincenzo, president of the Albaria Club, was elected President of IMCO at their recent AGM and is now the IMCO representative on the IWA Board. IWA are delighted that Vincenzo has accepted the position of IWA President for the remainder of the year. |
Annual General Meetings - Agenda published |
The International Windsurfing Association Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 10th August 2005, 7.30 pm at the SKZ (host club) Sopot, Poland.

IFCA AGM |
| The 2005 IFCA AGM will be held on 16 August in Silvaplana at 20.00 hours, during the Freestyle World Championships. National Associations are invited to submit proposals for the meeting by Friday 15th July. Full details of the Agenda and proposals submitted will be circulated to members and posted on the class website by Monday 18th July. |

2012 Olympic Sailing Competition |
Great Britain will host the 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition at the new Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA).

Raceboard Class Rule clarification; and a 7.5 division |
When the class rules were revised for competition from 2005 onwards, not only were the board rules relaxed to permit the use of the new generation of 'hybrid' raceboards such as those developed for the Olympic Equipment evaluation, but also the sail rules were changed.

The entry fee will be the same as for Masters - 120 euro – collected at registration, on site. No titles are at stake, this will be a prize category only, with product prizes donated by the UK windsurfing industry. Entries will be accepted by forwarding an email application
Also, 2 additional prize categories have been added to the Formula Festival in Christchurch, UK. In the Junior Championship the under 15 division will be recognised; and in the Masters Championship the category of Grand Master will be rewarded. |
