The ISAF Olympic Windsurfing Evaluation Event at Torbole, Italy concluded on Saturday 8 May after a full week of rainy and light conditions on the legendary Lake Garda.

Particular thanks go to all the entrants who supported the event by placing their equipment on test including : Ivor HOPKINS, Jurgen MAY, Boris ZWETKOFF (Boards and More), Bill KLINE (Curtis Foils), Patrice BELBEOCH, Olivier ROUDAUT (Flying Fish), Phil MCGAIN (Gaastra Sails), Michel QUISTINIC, Robert STROJ, Peter DURHAM (Neil Pryde), Patrik DIETHELM (PD Project), Cam RAWLINSON (Boards and Less), and Svein RASMUSSEN, Jim DRAKE (Starboard).

Also many thanks to the sailors that put time and effort into sailing and for so much informative feedback of the Longboards, Formula boards and Hybrid boards tested: - Ben BARGER, Micah BUZIANIS, Gonzalo COSTA HOEVEL, Andrea CUCCHI, Mariusz GOLINSKI, Pawel HLAVATY, Ho Chi Ho, Nicolas HUGUET, Fernando LODOS, Toni WILHELM, Helen CARTWRIGHT, Faustine MERRET, Christine JOHNSTON, Amelie LUX, Magdalena PUCIATA, Allison SHREEVE, Miki YOSHIDA.

The event was hosted in a very special way by Gianfranco Tonelli, the staff and Race Committee of the Circolo Surf Torbole with assistance from the FIV.

The Evaluation Panel of Richard JEFFRIES, Chris ATKINS, Jorunn HORGEN, Mike GEBHARDT and Qu CHUN will complete their report over the next three weeks and it will be presented to the ISAF Events Committee and Council at their meetings in San Diego, USA on 4-6 June.
