| 2002 Mistral World Championships, Thailand | | Posted On: 10/12/2002 | Barbara Kendall comes back with a bang! Two years off since Sydney certainly has not dulled her competitive instincts. This all time legendary performer from New Zealand popped in a 1st and a 3rd to top the leader board after the first day’s racing of the Mistral World Championship now being staged in Pattaya, Thailand.
Bryony Shaw (GBR) had an excellent first day with a 3rd and a 7th to take second spot overall with Alessandra Sensini (ITA) 3rd overall just two points behind.
More wind is forecast for tomorrow so the Race Committee have scheduled 3 races on what was to be the reserve day.
